Immersion trend drives ASML sales |
Lithography tool manufacturer ASML reports a sales hike of 5.9 percent in FY 2007, supported by a demand trend towards leading-edge immersion systems. Despite overall pessimistic forecasts for capital spending in the semiconductor industry, the company believes it is widely shielded from the slowdown and expects to almost double its sales from immersion systems in 2008.
