Atheros Communications bought u-Nav Microelectronics to get hold of its CMOS-based GPS technology and licenses to certain SiRF patents so that it could expand its current portfolio of WLAN, PHS and Bluetooth offerings and now offer personal navigation and asset-tracking solutions.
