AMD tips high - k, downplays process race

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. 5b4 (AMD) plans to ramp production of 45-nm high-k dielectric chips in the first half of 2008 and remains largely unconcerned about trailing rivals like Intel Corp. in the high-k/metal gate processor race.
