Fingerprint Cards AB (Gothenburg, Sweden) has released a fingerprint biometric processor ASIC, the FPC2020. The FPC2020 acts a data processing subsystem to the FPC1011C sensor and links to the sensor and to external flash memory for storing fingerprint templates.
