DURHAM, NC, JANUARY 30, 2007 — Cree, Inc. (Nasdaq: CREE), a leader in LED solid-state lighting components, announced today a distribution agreement with World Peace Industrial Co., Ltd. (WPI) to sell and support Cree XLamp® products in China, Asia Pacific and Japan. WPI is a member of WPG Holdings, a leading electronics distributor in Asia.
