Metal - insulator tech drives down cost of 60GHz WPAN

By switching to metal-insulator electronics—which can be fabricated on standard CMOS lines atop ultracheap plastic substrates—Motorola reports being able to drive down the cost of 60GHz WPAN to rival that of semiconductors.
