The analog portion of the application-specific standard products (ASSP) and application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) markets is set to increase with a 7.4 percent compound annual growth rate, from $23.7 billion in 2006 to $33.8 billion in 2011, according to market research company Gartner Inc.
