Avago claims 17-Gbps serdes in 65-nm

Avago Technologies, formerly t 5b4 he semiconductor arm of Agilient Technologies Inc., has claimed to have produced a serializer/deserializer in 65-nm CMOS process that can issue and receive data at 17-Gbits per second.
