House passes controversial patent reform bill

The U.S. House of Rep 5b4 resentatives passed Friday a sweeping and controversial patent reform bill that aims to raise the quality of patents and reduce patent litigation and abuse, but passage has drawn widespread criticism from both the administration and the IEEE-USA among others.
