Epcos designed its SineFormer filter technology to improve the output waveforms from high-power frequency converters and motor drives. The unit simultaneously converts phase-to-phase voltages into a sinusoidal signal, damps common-mode currents, and forms the phase-to-ground voltage into a sine-shaped voltage.
