Built to be fully functional first silicon for integration into SoCs, 65 nm TrueStore® RC2500 and RC8800 encode and decode data while ensuring accuracy of all data read from or written to HDD. Iterative decoding enables optimization of signal-to-noise ratio in order, increasing HDD data storage capacity in desktops and reducing power consumption in notebooks. Respectively, RC2500 and RC8800 are designed for notebook and desktop applications.
