Operating within VIN range of 3.6-34 V, step-down Model LT3684 is suitable for load dump and cold-crank conditions found in automotive applications. Its 3.2 A internal switch can deliver up to 2 A of continuous output current at voltages as low as 1.265 V. Switching frequency is user programmable from 300 kHz to 2.8 MHz. Housed in 3 x 3 mm, DFN-10 package, regulator includes integrated boost diode, power good flag, and soft-start capability.
