Housed in 2 x 3 mm DFN package, Model LT3591 drives up to 10 white LEDs from single Li-Ion cell at efficiencies over 78%. It switches at 1 MHz, allowing use of tiny inductor and capacitors while keeping switching noise out of critical RF frequency bands. Acting as constant current source, driver ensures uniform LED brightness by delivering same current to each LED, regardless of fluctuations in forward voltage drop. True Color PWM(TM) dimming offers dimming range up to 80:1.
