Low multiplex controller and driver for monochrome TN/STN LCD displays, EM6111, can be operated from 1.8 V (static) to 5.5 V (multiplexed) input and requires no external components. It can drive 1 or 2 rows x 7 columns, with display refresh implemented internally. RAM data corresponds directly to LCD pixels, and all segments can be individually turned on or off by SET or BLANK bit commands. Circuit can be controlled for initialization, memory programming, and circuit status readout.
