Housed in 2 x 2 mm DFN package, stand-alone linear Model LTC4095 charges single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer batteries at up to 950 mA without overheating device or its surrounding components. USB-compatible IC offers digital High Power Select and Suspend Mode Input pins in addition to trickle charge, timer termination with C/10 detection, and automatic recharge. Applications include digital still cameras, portable POS and diagnostic equipment, cell phones, and wireless headsets.
