Vishay Intertechnology announced the release of a new ESD single-line protection diode in a plastic SOD923 package. With a 0.6-mm by 1.0-mm footprint and a profile of 0.4mm, the VESD05A1B-02Z is designed to save board space and provide ESD protection in portable electronics for mobile computing, mobile communication, consumer, industrial, automotive, and medical applications.
