Broadcom comes to 3GSM with 65-nm EDGE, HEDGE
Broadcom will parlay its 65-nm foundry access into single-chip transceivers for EDGE and HSDPA+EDGE, to be shown at the 3GSM in Barcelona. Broadcom pledges to offer "HSDPA at WCDMA prices, and EDGE at GPRS prices," according to director of mobile communications marketing Robert Nalesnik.
