Extreme bolsters Ethernet switches

Extreme Networks is rolling out 5b4 new features for its Ethernet switches to ease the shift for large networks from time-division multiplexing to Internet Protocol networks, a move meant to counter Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks among others as they compete for business in large network installations.
