Telematics in 2.2 million European cars, says analyst |
At the end of 2007 2.2 million cars in Europe had a telematics device, according to market analyst Berg Insights AB (Gothenburg, Sweden). Stolen vehicle tracking is the main application, followed by automatic emergency call, driver assistance and motor insurance telematics, the analyst said.
