NXP extends deal with ARM to cover microcontrollers |
NXP BV (Eindhoven, The Netherlands) has expanded its licensing deal with processor intellectual property licensor ARM Holdings plc (Cambridge, England) to include the ARM Cortex-M3 processor core for microcontrollers. NXP is set to introduce a family of microcontrollers based on the ARM Cortex-M3 processor in 2008.
